Dr. Elizabeth Venell is an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Sarah Isom Center for Women and Gender Studies currently teaching introductory classes and topics courses in creativity, body studies, and LGBTQ+ cinema. She is interested in how the science of teaching and learning is often translated to online environments. To reframe that practice, she will be focusing several WOW! events on active learning methods that originate online. As a fully online faculty member, she specializes in asynchronous courses.
