11/13 | I am Going on an Adventure!: Allowing for Student Choice in Online Classes : In this workshop, I will share some ways that I have allowed students to have more choice in my online classes. Specifically, I?ll cover a class that has multiple coursework paths for students to follow through the course material based on their interests. Students have really enjoyed having more options as to what projects they do and what topics they spend more time learning about. This has made the overall class engagement go up and the quality of their work is also better. I?ll also share smaller ways to incorporate student choice in online classes.
